Enhanced Find & Print support

Open the toolbar

On an eligible webpage, click the Enhanced Find & Print extension icon. You can also use Ctrl + Shift + F on Windows/Linux or Command + Shift + F on macOS.

Search options

Enter a word or phrase in Find on page. Press Enter for the next result, Shift + Enter for the previous result, or use the arrow buttons. Open Options to choose Match case, Whole word, Highlight all, or Search full loaded document. These preferences are saved locally in the extension.

Printing

Select Print / Save PDF in the toolbar, or use Ctrl + Shift + P on Windows/Linux or Command + Shift + P on macOS. The extension opens Chrome's normal print dialog. Choose your printer or Chrome's Save to PDF destination there; the extension does not automatically create or download PDFs.

On Sophia Learning pages, the extension prepares a temporary lesson-focused layout before opening the same Chrome print dialog. The original webpage is not changed.

Keyboard shortcut conflicts

Chrome may leave a suggested shortcut unassigned if it conflicts with your browser or operating system. Open chrome://extensions/shortcuts to view or change the extension's shortcuts.

Troubleshooting

Chrome blocks extensions from running on protected pages such as most chrome:// pages and the Chrome Web Store. On those pages the extension action may show an exclamation badge; open a normal webpage instead. If the toolbar does not appear on an eligible page, reload the page and try again.

Privacy

The extension processes the current page locally after you invoke it so it can search text or prepare a print layout. It does not send page content, URLs, search queries, or preferences to external servers, and it does not use analytics or advertising.
