Privacy Policy for Enhanced Find & Print

Enhanced Find & Print helps you find text on the current webpage and open Chrome's print dialog. This policy explains how the extension handles information.

Information the extension processes

The extension runs only when you click its toolbar button or use its keyboard shortcut.

• Current webpage content: visible text is processed locally to find phrases and show results. On Sophia Learning pages, the current page is locally examined and a temporary lesson-focused copy is prepared for printing.
• Current page URL or hostname: processed locally only to determine whether Sophia-specific print formatting applies.
• Search queries: used locally to search the current page; not sent to us, stored as a preference, or retained after the page session.
• Search preferences: match case, whole word, highlight all, and search full loaded document are stored locally in Chrome extension storage.

Webpage content may contain personal or sensitive information depending on the page you choose. The extension processes it only locally to provide the feature you invoked; it does not classify, retain, or send it elsewhere.

No external servers, analytics, or advertising

Enhanced Find & Print makes no external network requests. It does not send webpage content, page URLs, search queries, or saved preferences to the developer or any other party. It does not use analytics, telemetry, advertising, tracking, affiliate links, or third-party services.

The extension does not sell or share information and does not require an account, sign-in, password, or other login.

Printing and retention

The extension opens Chrome's normal print dialog. Chrome and you control any printer or destination selected there, including Chrome's Save to PDF option. The extension does not create, download, upload, or store PDF files.

Webpage content and search queries are used in memory while you use the extension on the page. They are not retained after that session. The four local search preferences remain until you clear extension data or remove the extension.

Your controls

You can close the toolbar to remove its search highlights, change saved preferences in the toolbar, clear extension data in Chrome, or remove the extension at any time.

Third-party websites and Sophia Learning

Third-party websites have their own privacy practices and terms. On Sophia Learning pages, the extension prepares a temporary lesson-focused print layout before opening Chrome's print dialog. It does not reveal answers, submit work, bypass access controls, or change the original page.

Enhanced Find & Print is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or produced by Sophia Learning, Google, or Google Chrome.
